Volunteering
We welcome volunteers of all ages and all types. We currently have over 80 volunteers and 40 staff who deliver our services to older people right across Bath and North East Somerset. The more people we have the more work we can do to support our older people.
There are all sorts of opportunities with us. If you have some time to spare then we can find you something enjoyable and useful to do. There is something to suit everyone.
You can help behind the scenes in our office, work on our reception desk, learn to use our office equipment. You can help out in a Day Centre or Luncheon Club, or help to take people Home From Hospital. We can offer training so that you can become an Information giver or work with our Trading Company, which sells insurance products. You could even join our Board of Trustees.
We offer travel expenses to people coming to help us with our work with older people.
You can offer as little or as much time as you like.
In common with other organisations we now undertake checks with the Criminal Records Bureau for all staff and volunteers.
